Speckled Trout, Redfish & a Full Day on the Water
Speckled trout and slot redfish are the foundation of Cocodrie inshore fishing, and this is the trip that puts you right in the middle of it. Captain Aaron works the outer bays, the nearshore islands, the marsh edges, and everything in between depending on conditions. Some mornings he is on trout in 10 minutes from the dock. Other days the reds are on the beach or deep in the marsh. He goes where the fish are.

Eight hours on the water with all gear, bait, and fish cleaning included. You bring food, drinks, and your fishing license. The rest is handled.

Fishing Techniques
Captain Aaron primarily fishes live bait using slip corks and double rigs depending on depth and structure. Slip corks let him target a specific zone in the water column, keeping the bait off the bottom and out of trouble. Light tackle spinning gear throughout.
