A Place Most People Have Not Heard Of Yet
When most people think Louisiana fishing, they think New Orleans or Venice. Cocodrie is the one the serious anglers keep coming back to.
You take Highway 56 south out of Houma and drive until the road ends. About 45 minutes from New Orleans, two hours from Lafayette or Baton Rouge. The marsh opens up on both sides of the highway as you get closer, and by the time you pull into the marina parking lot you understand why people make the drive.
This is deep Cajun country. The bays and nearshore islands are right outside the marina. The salt water is close. The fishing is consistent.

Coco Marina
Coco Marina anchors the Cocodrie fishing community and has grown into a genuine destination. The property was raised several feet to sit above storm surge and built out with a full-service restaurant and bar, a swimming pool, hotel rooms, and waterfront camps.
After the trip, you can take your cleaned catch straight to the restaurant kitchen and have it cooked the same evening. That is not something you find at most marinas, and it is one of the things that makes Cocodrie worth the drive.
Captain Aaron can connect you with lodging at Coco Marina or at partner camps nearby. Two people or forty, he has options and will get you set up.
